What is the relationship between UGC and the Administration?
  • The UGC is a non-statutory committee responsible for advising the Administration on the strategic development and funding needs of its funded universities. The UGC (and the UGC Secretariat) is the principal channel of communication between the Administration and the UGC-funded universities. The UGC communicates with the Administration mainly through the Education Bureau.
