Terms of Reference
Advise the UGC on emerging policy issues and directions pertaining to the development of the local higher education sector having cognizance of the international dimension.
Advise the UGC on system-wide policy development and strategic planning, including by taking into account matters being considered by other UGC sub-entities.
Consider matters related to institutional and academic development of UGC-funded institutions in a holistic and comprehensive manner.
Devise methodologies to assess the funding requirements of UGC-funded institutions, including the triennial recurrent funding assessment exercise.
Devise measures or mechanisms to assess quality and encourage enhancement within the UGC-funded institutions.
