Reflective Report
  1. The projects under consideration for funding were extensively and robustly reviewed with both academic merit and impact in mind. The impact factor in each was especially high and well considered. Some projects seemed very ambitious but even with those, the level of ambition had been acknowledged.

  2. Project teams should consider the theoretical meanings beyond simply addressing the practical issues when preparing the proposals. Being able to abstract theoretical models or theories from the findings of the proposed project is equally important as the societal impact that a project could create because they advance the existing literature and field of study.

  3. Applicants are encouraged to consider more carefully the pathways to impact that might involve commercialisation or not.
