LUI Hon-kwong

Professor Lui Hon-kwong is the Associate Vice President (Further Education and Projects) and a Professor of the Department of Marketing and International Business at Lingnan University (LU) in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he was the Associate Vice President (Academic Affairs and External Relations) overseeing the Registry, the Core Curriculum and General Education Office, and the Office of Communications and Public Affairs, and also served as the Acting Director of Communications and Public Affairs.

Professor Lui completed his PhD in Economics at The University of Hong Kong. In addition to serving on various committees and internal validation panels at LU, he is also very active in public service. He is a Council Member of The Education University of Hong Kong and a member of its Audit Committee. He was a Director of the Joint University Programmes Admissions System Board of Management and a Member of the Disciplinary Panel A of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel, and EcoPark Advisory Committee. Moreover, he was a Council Member of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority and the Deputy Chairman of its Research and Development Committee. He was a specialist for the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications and regularly serves on its accreditation/reaccreditation panels for local and non-local programmes.
