John ROSENBERG

Emeritus Professor John Rosenberg has over 20 years of experience in senior management and leadership in educational institutions. He has held positions ranging from Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University, to Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic) at Deakin University. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President Global Relations at La Trobe University. He has acted as the Vice-Chancellor and the President at both Deakin University and La Trobe University on numerous occasions.

Professor Rosenberg has extensive experience with both the public and private vocational educational sectors. At both Deakin University and La Trobe University, he was responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with key vocational institutions and a range of private providers. He has conducted quality assurance reviews for a range of institutions within Australia and elsewhere across a range of disciplines and areas. He has been a Specialist for the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications for one and half years.

Professor Rosenberg holds a PhD in Computer Science from Monash University. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy for Technological Sciences, a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
