Cecilia CHUN Ka-wai

Professor Cecilia Chun is the Director of the Centre for Learning Enhancement and Research of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Before taking up her current post, she was the Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies) of CUHK's Faculty of Education and a member of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She holds the following academic and professional qualifications: B.A. (Hons.), Dip. Ed., Adv. Dip. Ed., M.Ed. and PhD.

Professor Chun has extensive experience in the training and education of English teachers working in both primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. She has been involved in different public-funded research projects on language and language-related topics including medium of instruction issues and the teaching of second language reading in schools. She served as a team member on different local and international consultancy projects and academic accreditation panels.
