What are UGC-funded RPg programmes? Do they include part-time programmes?

The UGC-funded RPg programmes mainly include all full-time Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes with current tuition fee of HK$42,100 per year. Notwithstanding, a few programmes adopting the degree titles in line with international practice of postgraduates composition programmes (other than "MPhil" or "PhD") are also included as UGC-funded RPg programmes, for example, Doctor of Music (DMus), Master of Music (MMus) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA). Currently, all part-time RPg programmes are not funded by UGC. For programme details of individual universities, please contact respective university for information:
