Phase 1" of HKBU
- "New Academic Block" of LU;
- "New Student Hostel" of LU;
- "An Integrated Teaching Building" of
CUHK;
- "Centralized General Research Lab Complex
(Block 1) at Area 39" of CUHK;
- "Extension to the existing University
Library at Central Campus" of CUHK;

The total estimated costs of these projects amount to $5.84 billion. The projects are scheduled for completion from mid 2011 onward. But four projects are on very tight schedules with target completion dates close to September 2012, the commencement of the four-year normative undergraduate programme. The UGC has, where necessary, invited institutions to prepare detailed contingency plans to prepare for potential delay. |
