Dr. Peter Ewell

Dr. Ewell is the Vice President at the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS), a research and development center founded to improve the management effectiveness of colleges and universities. A member of the staff since 1981, Dr. Ewell’s work focuses on assessing institutional effectiveness and the outcomes of college, and involves both research and direct consulting with institutions and state systems on collecting and using assessment information in planning, evaluation, and budgeting.

Dr. Skip Fletcher

Dr. Fletcher has been actively involved in accreditation related activities for the past 30 years, and currently serves as President of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in the United States. He has been a strong voice for accreditation of engineering programmes around the globe to ensure global mobility for engineering graduates. He has been actively involved in all aspects of engineering accreditation, and has served as a program evaluator and/or team chair for numerous accreditation visits both in the U.S and internationally (including Hong Kong). Dr. Fletcher has been involved in implementing ABET Criteria 2000 which focuses on the vision, mission, measurable objectives and outcomes assessment of engineering programmes and engineering courses, leading to continuing quality improvement and continuing educational development.

Dr. Ricky W. Griffin

Dr. Griffin is Distinguished Professor of Management and holder of the Blocker Chair in Business at Texas A&M University. He has written several successful textbooks that are used around the world and have been translated into several languages. From 1994 through 1997 he served as Director of the Center for Human Resource Management at Mays Business School. He then served as Head of the Department of Management from 1997 through 2000. In 2000 he was appointed as Executive Associate Dean of Mays Business School. In June 2007, Dr. Griffin was appointed as Interim Dean of Mays Business School.

Prof. Ian Saunders

Professor Ian Saunders is Head of the School of Social and Cultural Studies at the University of Western Australia (UWA). His teaching and research background is in Literature and Communication Studies, and as Chair of Communication Studies led the formation of an outcomes based approach to curricula in that degree that has since been adopted across the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at UWA.

Dr. Tom Angelo

Dr. Angelo is Professor of Higher Education and, as of 1 July 2008, Director of the new Centre for Teaching, Learning and Curriculum at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Since 2004, he has been Professor of Higher Education and Director of the University Teaching Development Centre (UTDC) at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
