UGC welcomes appointment of Arthur Li as SEM

The University Grants Committee (UGC) today (June 24) welcomes the appointment of Professor Arthur Li as the Secretary for Education and Manpower.

Leading the UGC on a study tour in Europe, the Chairman of UGC, Dr Alice Lam said, "Professor Li's appointment comes at a time when higher education in Hong Kong is under review. We look forward to working closely with him to ensure that the universities of Hong Kong will successfully meet the challenges of today and tomorrow."
